About our words
Card sentiments are original contemporary writing inspired by ancient passages, which we cite. They are not translations, and our explanations are offered for general interest, not as scholarly or religious instruction.
Conversation guidelines
Our question boards are a place to think out loud together. When you post, please:
- Share a thought, not a confession. Ideas are welcome; nobody has to share their private life.
- Be kind. Disagree with ideas, never with people.
- Leave out links, advertising and contact details.
- Avoid religious debate or instruction. These boards are about shared human ideas.
Posts with blocked words, links or contact details are held for review before they appear. Posts that readers report are hidden until we've looked at them. We may remove any post, at any time, without notice. By posting you confirm the words are your own and give us permission to show them on this website.
